Starting her dance journey at the tender age of four, Priya trained in Bharatanatyam under the esteemed Kalaratna Guru Smt. Ratnam Janardhanan Nair. Her thirst for knowledge led her to also study Mohiniyattam, where she continues to learn under the guidance of Guru Smt. Vinaya Narayanan, a senior disciple of the legendary Padmashree Smt. Bharati Shivaji.
Priya's artistry has been recognized worldwide, with accolades and awards for her performances both in India and internationally. She has showcased her talent on prestigious stages such as the World Stage for Dances and the UNESCO Dance Festival, and has conducted workshops across various platforms.
Despite her background as an IT Engineer, Priya’s unwavering dedication to dance has allowed her to excel in both fields, with equal finesse.
As the Artistic Director and Founder of Priya Nartaki Dance Spaces, she is not just a teacher, but a visionary. With over 15 years of professional experience in choreography, performance, and training in Indian dance forms and Bollywood, Priya blends the traditional with the contemporary, creating mesmerizing performances that resonate with today’s audience. Her work weaves emotion, expression, and rhythm, offering an accessible and captivating experience for all.
